Project Description:
CEFE International provides advocacy services for women’s economic empowerment in PAN African countries, including Eastern Africa, by improving women entrepreneurs’ readiness to attract investments by Business Angels, Impact Investors or Venture Capitalists and enhancing their provision of products and services to their customers. For this purpose, CI builds, manages, and provides qualified mentors and coaches who support start-ups to improve their business performance via implementing tailor-made company development and venture building, such as improving business models, product development, customer relations, marketing strategies, and financial management.
Services provided:

The contractor is responsible for hosting a network of mentors and experts on an online platform in close dialogue and under the oversight of SAIS for two successive cohorts of start-ups, namely the ones starting in 2023 and 2024. Tasks:

  • – Contracting and managing of a community and acceleration online platform.
  • – Sourcing, contracting and payment of short-term experts and pro bono mentors.
  • – Coordination and contracting of additional service provisions (“ASP”) and equipment.
  • – Community management for all registered members on the platform.
