Description:

CEFE International is applying for the project: UDAYA: Investment and Innovation for Economic Development, financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.

Currently, we are looking for the best professional to assume the team leader position!

Team leader

– Master’s degree or higher in banking and finance, business administration, economics.
– Preferably 7 years of experience in a leading role with strong outcome-oriented strategic thinking in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with diverse teams of at least 15 people.
– Familiarity with operating one or more blended finance structures (TA, guarantees, RBF, etc.) and digital transformation to strengthen SMEs.
– Proven experience in working in the private sector, including for example business consulting, SME-finance or BDS provision is a strong asset.
– Successfully worked in low or lower middle income countries providing capacity building to government counterparts.
– Solid understanding of the rights and the mandates of the provincial governments in Nepal and of the relevance of gender and social inclusion.
– Excellent command of written and spoken English; understanding of Nepali language is desirable.

Business Development Service Lead

– Master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, organisation management, marketing and related fields, or equivalent.
– Preferably 7 years of experience in outcome-based programme management and consulting in projects focusing on private sector development, market systems development, growth and innovation.
– Strong understanding of working with the BDS providers in Nepal – especially in Koshi Province and experience in designing as well as innovating their services.
– Experience working with voucher schemes.
– Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with diverse teams and a range of stakeholders, including governments, private sector and financial institutions.
– Excellent command of written and spoken English and Nepali language is desirable.

Strategic Innovations Support Senior Manager

– Master’s degree or higher in finance, economics, business administration or related field.
– Preferably 7 years of experience in blended finance, financial service consulting and innovative SME financing.
– Excellent knowledge in designing, setting-up and managing risk guarantee mechanisms. Strong understanding of the need of growth capital for SMEs and best practices, adequate governance structures and processes.
– Good understanding of setting up a technical assistance facility that is geared towards supporting the SME development initiatives.
– Understanding of government’s fund flow mechanism.
– Good network and relationship with BFIs in Nepal and sound knowledge of the SME landscape.
– Good experience of working with different spheres of the government and understanding of their rights and mandates for economic development.
– Ability to gauge the progress of the project and understand the outcome-oriented, adaptive result based management approach.
– Excellent command of written and spoken English and Nepali language is desirable.

MRM Lead:

– Master’s degree; additional qualification in monitoring and results measurement data management, statistics, business administration, business studies and/ or related fields.
– Preferably 7 years of experience in monitoring, results measurement and learning, experience with quantitative and qualitative research, capable of designing survey tools and knowledge on data management.
– Well-versed in outcome-level results measurement and analysis of private sector development projects and outstanding command on results measurement tools, including DCED and statistical packages.
– Proven sensitivity for gender and social inclusion in MRM.
– Excellent command of written and spoken English and Nepali language is desirable.

Administration and HR officer

– Master’s degree in business administration specializing in human resource management and/or related fields or equivalent for the position.
– Preferably 7 years of experience in human resources and administration.
– Previous experience in shortlisting, selecting and recruiting candidates as per the need of the organisation.
– Solid understanding in designing human resource manual, staff management, conducting trainings, and implementation of solid HR system.
– Experience of managing support staffs.
– Excellent command of written and spoken English and Nepali language is desirable.

Finance officer

– Master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or Professional qualification
– (CA/ACCA/CPA) or equivalent with Masters or Bachelor’s degree and/or related fields or equivalent for the position.
– Preferably 7 years of experience in financial management and accounting in large development projects.
– Past experience of managing project office accounts and budget expenditures. – Proper understanding of government’s financial system and experience of managing government related projects.
– Prior experience in bank and financial institution with knowledge of credit management is an advantage.
– Excellent command of written and spoken English and Nepali language is desirable.

Communications officers

– Masters in communication, marketing, business administration, knowledge management and/or related fields or equivalent for the position.
– Preferably 7 years of experience in designing and implementing media plans, public engagement strategy and organisational communication plan.
– Strong experience with social media incl. production of user-friendly content and dissemination to a wide audience.
– Examples of previously produced high quality content for a public audience (e.g. reports, brochures, case studies, and factsheets).
– Excellent command of written and spoken English and Nepali language is desirable.
