CEFE Macedonia created a new program Entrepreneurship Competences Through Sport, Experiential Learning for Education Through Sports, funded by the Erasmus + program of the European Union.
The program aims to engage participants in sports activities and, through facilitators’ guidance, extract the business lessons and skills acquired via individual or competitive games. The main goals are: to improve experiential learning-based educational capacities of sports and youth organizations and their staff using sport as a tool; and to develop experiential learning-based tools and methods for sports activities to increase the educational potential of sports activities. Contributing to achieving Sustainable Development Goal # 8, “Decent work and economic growth.
The Entrepreneurship Competences Through Sport program is part of the Sustainable Development Through Sport project, which aims to develop key competencies and raise knowledge of UN Sustainable Development Goals. The project also aims to empower disadvantaged women groups (women between 20-34 years old in NEET) through using sports at the local and international levels. The main target audiences are adult educators and trainers.
The program is being developed in partnership with organizations from Turkey, France, N. Macedonia and Slovenia:
– Istanbul Culture and Sport Association (Coordinator Organization) (Turkey).
– Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Sport Istanbul (Turkey).
– Association INTERCULTURA (France).
– CEFE Macedonia (N. Macedonia).
– POVOD (Slovenia).
Activities and deliverables include four Learning Teaching Training Activities for Adult Learners, two Intellectual Products – Research and Toolkit, and eight Local Sports Activities organized in 4 countriesp
