Global Business Exchange Programme GloBus – Manager Training Program (MTP)

The goal of GloBus is to strengthen the management skills of executives from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in a business oriented training, dialogue and networking. And at the same time, to prepare them in regard to the needs of international economic relations, particularly with Germany. As a first step, market-oriented HCD measures for selected professionals of national vocational training organizations are conducted in a ToT with emphasize on international management and cooperation with Germany/Europe. The aim is to strengthen relevant partner organizations in developing and conducting autonomously vocational training for managers of SMEs in Peru. After that, the trained Trainers will conduct vocational trainings for Mangers in Peru while being supervised by trainers from CEFE International. Furthermore, through an Exposure Program in Germany, the cooperation between Peruvian and German companies are introduced, which increases the competitiveness of both. The projects┬┤ objective appears being relevant for the Peruvian context because Peru identifies difficulties in the technical and social infrastructure, especially in the subjects of training of specialized staff, the low number of qualified managers and the low quality of education.

To support the projects┬┤ objective, CI develops and implements the concept of the Training of Trainers (ToT) for 24 lecturers by using the CEFE Methodology. This includes preparation and conduction of coaching/ backstopping/ documentation and report writing/ concept development and execution of Training of Trainers (ToT)/ Project Management. The Training Manual includes inter alia the following topics: presentation / Management Tools and Soft Skills / initiation of business and negotiation with German companies / market access and adequate occurrence / intercultural communications and innovation management.
