CEFE Methodology (Competency based Economies through Formation of Entrepreneurs) is a comprehensive set of training instruments based in action-oriented approach and experiential learning methods to develop and enhance the business management and personal competencies of a wide range of target groups, mostly in the context of income and employment generation and economic development.

Experimental learning cycle is the dis-aggregation into stages of natural human behavior, which allows people to analyze their experiences and convert them into knowledge applicable to their future. It is a natural reaction of people that occurs when they are subjected to direct stimuli or are involved in circumstances that affect them and provoke various sensations.

Action:

It is the starting point for the learning cycle, therefore the result that can be obtained at the end of the structured exercise depend on its quality. In this first step participants experience the exercise in which are involved.

Publishing:

If their experience developed with adequate intensity, participants can be expected to have experienced strong levels of emotions. The importance of publishing lies in allowing the emotions that will give the necessary elements to build the knowledge so that they are evacuated and the brain is in a position to think and reflect on the recently lived experience and find explanations for the results achieved.

Processing:

Reflection / processing is an action with which we seek the explanation of results, emotions or sensations, which produces a certain experience or experience. Through the facilitator, the participant gives a logical interpretation of the emotions, depending on the capacity that is to be achieved in the session.

Generalization:

In this phase of the cycle, the ideas that the participants built during the reflection are systematized, then the facilitator makes contributions on the topic and the depth of the topic will depend a lot on the group to which it is addressed. To deepen the concepts, the facilitators share with the participants information, concepts or theories, which constitute the knowledge that the participants were expected to acquire to achieve a new performance capacity.

Application:

It is the end of the cycle, where the participants interact and carry out exercises (activities, tasks) that facilitate the use of new knowledge; It is a phase of development of concrete actions or practical applications of the knowledge acquired in situations of your reality or new.
